2023 PROGRAM
STUDENT AGREEMENT + COMMITMENT
PART 3 - THE FINE PRINT
Non-Exclusive Mentoring:
Student hereby acknowledges and agrees that nothing in this Agreement shall prohibit the Mentor from continuing to provide mentoring and coaching services to other individuals and companies or to otherwise engage in the Mentor’s business activities.
Reasonable Services:
The Mentor is required to render reasonable services covered by this Agreement. If, for any reason, the Mentor is unable to render services as stated herein, the Mentor will immediately notify Student and may, at its sole discretion, terminate this Agreement. In the event of termination pursuant to the provisions of this paragraph, the Mentor shall reimburse Student his/her pro rata share of the compensation received for the remaining days left on the term of the Agreement.
Nothing in this Agreement will be construed to require the Mentor, or any member of its staff, (1) to travel or to meet with Student at any particular place, unless the Mentor agrees to do so at the Mentor’s sole discretion, or (2) to pay for or reimburse Student for any costs and/or expenses incurred in connection with services rendered under this Agreement, including but not limited to, costs incurred by Student to attend events, whether or not hosted by the Mentor, to which Student is invited.
Payment and Refund Policy:
Tuition for this program is due in full prior to December 30, 2022. Tuition includes all shipping costs for program supplies. Student understands and agrees that all tuition is non-refundable unless otherwise stated in this Agreement.
Confidentiality:
It is important that the Student knows and trusts completely that all conversations are confidential. The information the Student shares with the Mentor and its employees, contractors, and agents will not be shared with anyone else, unless the Student has a clear agreement that it is in the Student's best interest to do so.
Independent Contractor:
Throughout the term of this Agreement (including any renewals thereof), Mentor’s relationship with the Student shall be that of an independent contractor, and the Student agrees that the Mentor is not and will not become an employee, partner, agent, or principal of the Student while this Agreement is in effect. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to create an employer-employee, agent-principal, joint venture, or partnership relationship between the Student and the Mentor.
Indemnification and Liability:
The Student agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Mentor and its employees, contractors, and agents against all liability, obligations, claims, losses, and expense arising out of acts or omissions in performing the consulting/mentoring services provided. Neither the Mentor nor the Student shall be liable to the other for any consequential damages.
Course content:
The Student agrees to keep the course content confidential and not share any of the daily recorded sessions or the course process with anyone.
Due to copyright laws, the session recordings will be streamed online and will not be available for download. The daily session will be available to listen to for seven days after each session’s delivery date.
Decisions:
The Student is ultimately responsible for their choices and decisions. The Mentor will offer resources, share insights and experiences, and may make referrals. However, it is always up to the Student to decide which, if any, to act upon. If the Student decides to accept or act on the Mentor’s recommendation, it is the Student's choice and the Student takes full responsibility for it. If the Student decides to work with someone based on the Mentor’s referral, the Student recognizes that such a relationship will be entirely separate from the mentoring relationship.
