…who was very different from other boys.
His mother was an artist and his father, an airplane mechanic. They lived in a new country in the Middle East - Israel. Their small town by the Mediterranean Sea was called The City of the Mermaid.
The boy was a gentle boy - full of laughter and wonder and joy. He loved making art and dancing to ABBA records alone in his room, while the other boys played football outside in the yard.
THIS BOY SAW THE WORLD IN A VERY DIFFERENT WAY.
But the world wasn't ready for this boy.
He was bullied and rejected. He learned to bury his feelings and be what everyone else wanted him to be.
The boy grew up to be a man who had lost his true self. He succeeded in business while hiding his addictions. He appeared to be the perfect husband while never knowing true intimacy.
This grown-up boy had fallen asleep - his soul gifts forgotten. His laughter and wonder and joy, a dream.
Until, one day, a Teacher woke him up.
WHEN THE STUDENT IS READY, THE TEACHER APPEARS.
I spent my twenties and thirties chasing achievement. I was an in-house artist for Tower Records and a freelance graphic designer. I ran a multi-person design and branding agency. I won awards. I spoke at conferences. I wrote books.
I was a “success”. But success came at a cost. Addicted to accomplishment, fearing failure, I succumbed to the obsessive-compulsive disorder of workaholism.
At age 38, I had my first spiritual crisis.
The things that used to bring me joy left me mentally and physically exhausted. My true soul gift as a creative had been completely repressed. My old world was crumbling and my new world had yet to be revealed.
I found myself at a crossroad, and I didn’t know where, or even how, to ask for help.
But, in my darkest hour, help appeared - in a most unusual way.
I had a chance encounter with a teacher who channeled guided wisdom. She told me, "Your self-actualization will occur when you learn how to love and create from a free spirit".
Her words touched me in a place so deep and so sweet, and so forgotten.
THUS BEGAN AN INTENSE JOURNEY OF PERSONAL GROWTH THAT IS STILL, FIFTEEN YEARS LATER, A WORK IN PROGRESS.
I learned to heal the childhood wounds that were still running me.
I learned to silence my over-active inner critic who told me I was not enough.
I learned to express my emotions through making art.
I learned to mend my relationship with money to live a life of abundance and flow.
I learned to let go of unhealthy relationships that were preventing me from living my purpose in life.
I learned what it means to love myself and stop toxic shame from keeping me small.
I learned to be a free-spirited artist who lives with curiosity and wonder and contributes greatly to the world.
And I learned to listen. To my intuition. To my higher self. To every person I interact with.
I realized that in healing my own wounds, I was learning how to help other creatives heal theirs.
Becoming a coach and spiritual director wasn't simply a career change. It was a calling.
Though trained by the greatest and certified by the best, my most profound lessons have come from over twelve thousand hours of coaching face to face, heart to heart, and soul to soul.
I mentor accomplished creatives because I understand what it's like to be in that terrifying in-between space of What's Next. I serve those who seek the soul reconnection that aligns their work with what matters most to them.
I’m here to grow an army of lovers - creatives who have learned to tame their inner dragons and live a life of abundance, joy, and service.

FINDING MY WAY HOME
Three years ago, after completing a two year solo travel sabbatical to 14 countries, I left the big city life and moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where I now call home.
Santa Fe is like no other place I have ever been to. It is a true artist’s paradise. The architecture, the food, the nature, are like no place on earth.
I live in the desert. With no light or sound pollution and no traffic or billboards.
I live with coyotes howling at night and afternoon thunderstorms.
I live on an enchanted land where creative free spirit roams.
My mission is to inspire and teach people how to create from free spirit, bring more love into the world, and live a life of abundance.
